Author's Notes: My inspiration for this paring is thin as a thread right now. I don't think I ever quite got into the "groove" for them, and am both sad and glad to be finishing up with them. I love them as a pairing, and as respective characters, but need to take a break before I try to do some serious writing again. There was a lot I wanted to get into with this set that I never did, and the actual romance I wanted to eventually write never seemed to fit in right. Maybe with the next one I'll get where I wanted to go, I dunno. I think this whole set was sort of experimental for me -- perspectives, writing style, etc. But I hope they've been enjoyable. This one's my shot at a dialogue-only fic, rather light-hearted and short.
