At long, long last, we have reached the Big Reveal! As with every year, thank you so much for your participation and patience. An enormous thank you and round of applause to all because, as we mentioned earlier, no one dropped out! Huzzah!

Please feel free to crosspost your fics wherever you'd like, and don't forget to comment on the stories if you haven't already. As always, if you spot any mistakes, please point them out; we also appreciate general feedback on the exchange.

And with that...

Title: Lungs
Pairing: Fleur/Bill
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1953
Summary: 13 moments that weave together a picture of Bill and Fleur’s rocky relationship.
Author's Notes: These drabbles are based on all 13 songs of the Florence + the Machine’s album “Lungs”, with lyrical excerpts heading off each drabble. Thanks to the mods for putting up with me, and thanks [livejournal.com profile] leigh_adams for the good prompts, wish I could have worked in more of them, but regardless I hope you enjoy!

Here we are, ladies and gentlemen – the Big Reveal! Thank you so much to everyone for your patience and participation. A huge thank you as well to our awesome pinch-hitters! This round was a little bumpy, so we're ever so grateful to you all for bearing with us.

Now that the Big Reveal has been posted, feel free to claim your fics and cross-post them to your own journals. But DON'T FORGET to go and COMMENT on everyone else's fics! We had wonderful entries this year, as always, even though quite a few of you were forced outside of your comfort zones, but unfortunately there haven't been many comments. So go show your fellow participants some love!

If you find any mistakes, please point them out. We would also appreciate any feedback about this round of the exchange in general.

We'd also like to congratulate [livejournal.com profile] briony_tallis for having the most correct guesses in our Guess Who Wrote What poll, with five correct guesses. Here's a little something for you -- way to go! :D

And now... drum roll please!

Ta da! )

Title: Snapshots
Pairing: Katie Bell/Stewart Ackerly
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~1,670
Summary: In and out of the spotlight, Katie Bell struggles with her feelings for Stewart.
Author's Notes: Never written this pairing before, so I hope you enjoy it! I had fun borrowing them for a bit though. :) I couldn’t get this to go full angst, so you’ve got a bit of angst, a dash of humor, and of course some sprinkles of romance. I used Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” as my inspiration as per your suggestion, and tried to sneak in a few other prompts as well.

Title: Poker Face
Prompt: "the other dumb chump"
Characters: Michael & Terry (platonic), Daphne Greengrass, Ernie Macmillan, Hannah Abbot, Seamus Finnigan
Rating: PG/PG-13 - light cursing, alcohol
Word Count: ~1,050
Prompt Table: Say what?
Summary: High stakes. Booze. A mexican stand off even Seamus can't break. Daphne plays detective.
Author's Note: Post DH sometime. Have been craving a good game of Texas Hold 'Em, and I guess that got subconsciously diverted into a card-game-fic. haha. (That and I've had that stupidly catchy Lady Ga Ga song stuck in my head for weeks.)

The deadline has passed for the Summer 2009 Wishlist Event, so it's about time to post the masterlist, don't you think?

This round has been amazing, everyone! Forty-one wishlists, and eighty fics! Wow! You've all really outdone yourselves! And we are of course very happy that everyone received at least one gift.

If you are currently working on any last-minute fics for the event, feel free to post them within the next week or so, and we will add to the masterlist. And don't forget to comment on the gifts you received!

If you see any errors, please do point them out; and we love general feedback, so don't hesitate to comment!

Title: Over-overanalyzing
Pairing: Anthony/Daphne
Request: "overanalyzing" - You probably meant something a little different with this prompt, but I couldn't help it; this absurd image popped into my head the moment I read that. (And I hope you don't mind that Terry and Michael snuck into this!)
Rating: PG / PG-13
Word Count: ~830
Summary: Anthony gets a date and Michael is bent on finding the ulterior motives behind this occurrence.
Author's Notes: If anyone really wants to know what a 'lethifold' is, read here, but basically it's a dementor-like monster that kills/eats people in their sleep. haha.

Title: The Match
Pairing: Viktor/Ginny
Request: "Ginny pins down Viktor"
Rating: PG / PG-13
Word Count: ~1,300 (got a bit long, although I didn't intend it to!)
Summary: Viktor stays at the Burrow to audition for a seasonal Quidditch team trade-off and Ginny's temper drives her to propose a bet that could have unexpected results.
Author's Notes: The way I figure it is between World Cups most players play on different regional teams in their separate leagues, and just like in football/soccer players can be traded around in leagues or whatever, so too can Quidditch players. But, erm, to be on the safe side don't look too closely at the details here.

You think you vill be a problem for me in this audition? But you are tiny.
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: More Like Peaches
Prompt: "Hear the silence"
Characters: Michael & Terry (platonic), Lavender Brown
Rating: PG-13 - cursing, sexual content
Word Count: ~540
Prompt Table: Say what?
Summary: Lavender overhears a conversation definitely not intended for her ears.

"Actually, they’re probably softer than even a peach. And much more supple."
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: Sense And Sensibility
Prompt: "did you hear that?"
Characters: Michael & Terry (platonic)
Rating: PG-13 - cursing
Word Count: ~303
Prompt Table: Say what?
Summary: Harry Potter isn't the only kid allowed to sneak about at night! (Michael and Terry take things into their own hands.)
Author's Notes: Dialogue-only fic set during DH.

No More Jane Austen References Here, Sorry.
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: For Every Knight There's a Scheming Wizard
Prompt: "knight in shining whatever"
Characters: Michael & Terry (platonic), Ron Weasley, Anthony Goldstein, Ginny Weasley
Rating: PG/PG-13
Word Count: ~730
Prompt Table: Say what?
Summary: Ron's not the only one who can't stand the fact that Michael and Ginny are dating.
Author's Notes: Slightly AU depending on how strictly you take canon, but I enjoyed writing a different take on the whole Michael/Ginny relationship.

But Ron Weasley and Terry Boot had a little more in common this year than they had in previous years, and it boiled down to a single, simple fact: Michael and Ginny were dating.
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: Advice Well-Received
Prompt: "Not the buttons!"
Characters: Michael & Terry (platonic)
Rating: PG-13, some language
Word Count: 1,000 (Promise they won't always be this long!)
Prompt Table: Say what?
Summary: Michael loves to be right—almost as much as he loves to torture Terry.
Author's Notes: Expect some degree of cracky-humor in this particular installment. I wanted to show an absurd moment between the friends, and this about tops what I could think of. I feel like around one's friends, even the most put-together or cynical of people can become utter crackpots. (At least every once in a while.)

A few frightened second-years were observing attentively from a safe distance, but anyone who had shared a Common Room with Michael, Terry and Anthony for longer than a year seemed to only hold a mild, passing interest in their current engagement.
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: Forget-Or-Not?
Pairing: Michael Corner/Astoria Greengrass
Prompt: Challenge #8 "Hole In The Wall" photo
Rating/Word Count: PG-13 / ~920 words
Summary: “Why?” Astoria ducked under the wall’s remains and into the bathroom. “It’s not exactly a real boys’ bathroom, is it?”
Author's Notes: Have been on a Michael Corner kick lately for some reason.

At last, the moment for which you've all been waiting with crossed fingers and bated breath: THE BIG REVEAL - huzzah! We'd like to take a moment just to thank you all for your participation this round; it was a lot rougher than last year, true, but when all was said and done, we still had quite a bit of fun. (We're even rhyming, see?)

Since THE BIG REVEAL is now up, feel free to post your stories on your own journals, etc. And make sure you comment, if you haven't already, on the gift written for you! But don't stop there! Everyone (especially our fantastic pinch-hitters; thanks again, ladies and gentleman!) worked very hard to create high-quality gifts. So go forth and COMMENT, and give 'em the love they deserve.

Any feedback for us, too, about how we ran this round, etc., is always much appreciated.

But enough of us! We present to you... THE MASTERLIST! (So go see if your guesses were right. :D)

Title: The Photograph
Pairing: Sirius/Lily
Rating: PG / PG-13
Word Count: 2,480
Summary: Sirius finds a photograph that prompts some curious memories and a revelation that just might change things.
Author's Notes: I really hope you enjoy this! You said you liked romance and angst, as well as “admitting you love each other” fics, and naturally a little snark was indeed included. ;) This may not, however, reached a super-duper happy place like originally intended. Happy Holidays! (& thanks to my usual beta, who is always appreciated!)

Title: Stake-Out
Pairing: Kingsley/Tonks
Rating: PG
Word Count: 260
Summary: Tonks hates stake-outs.

Congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] captainpookey, who has completed all thirteen prompts for the pairing Remus Lupin/Lily Evans Potter!

Check it out! :D

1. James Isn't Having It, PG (not listening to a word)
2. Everybody's Got Something to Hide, G (only not)
3. Rainy Day, Don't Go Away, G (as you were)
4. Doting, PG (black ink)
5. Time Runs Down, G (splat)
6. Well, If You Put It That Way, PG (well, if you put it that way)
7. Crossing Lines, PG (invisible line)
8. To Take Advantage Of, PG (in the other sense of the word)
9. Just Another Wednesday, PG (this is Wednesday)
10. ...Or Not, PG (take your pick)
11. Till Death, PG (till death)
12. Eyes Up, Lover Boy, PG (the question is obvious)
13. Somewhere, PG (oh, the insanity)
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: Somewhere
Prompt: "oh, the insanity"
Characters: Remus/Lily
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~920
Prompt Table: Here. This is the final one... weird feeling.
Summary: The room was spinning rapidly, the objects blurring into one indistinguishable mass that forced Remus to his knees. His knuckles knotted in his hair and he choked over the letters...
Author's Notes: Well, that's it! And I think with this one I finally hit my stride. It's probably one of my favorites that I've written for this pair, and I'm glad to end on that note.

Title: Eyes Up, Lover Boy
Prompt: "The question is obvious"
Characters: Remus/Lily
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~225
Prompt Table: Here. 1 more left!
Summary: "...It’s like that, except I have the decency to leave some underclothes on, so quit staring."
Author's Notes: My inspiration for this paring is thin as a thread right now. I don't think I ever quite got into the "groove" for them, and am both sad and glad to be finishing up with them. I love them as a pairing, and as respective characters, but need to take a break before I try to do some serious writing again. There was a lot I wanted to get into with this set that I never did, and the actual romance I wanted to eventually write never seemed to fit in right. Maybe with the next one I'll get where I wanted to go, I dunno. I think this whole set was sort of experimental for me -- perspectives, writing style, etc. But I hope they've been enjoyable. This one's my shot at a dialogue-only fic, rather light-hearted and short.

Eyes Up, Lover Boy. )
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: Till Death
Prompt: "Till Death"
Characters: Remus/Lily, Sirius
Rating: PG
Word Count: 323
Prompt Table: Here.
Summary: What runs through Remus's head as the best man at Lily's wedding?
Author's Notes: Decided to write this in a different style than the norm -- namely, 1st person. Because these never really took place in the same 'verse anyway. Eh, consistency shmistency.

Till Death. )
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: Just Another Wednesday...
Prompt: "This is Wednesday"
Rating: PG
Word Count: 780
Prompt Table: Here.
Summary: “Do you know what day it is?” He asked in a whisper...
Author's Notes: Part I of II. Although they're posted together because I just happened to write them back-to-back.

Just Another Wednesday... )

Title: ...Or Not.
Prompt: "Take Your Pick"
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~500
Prompt Table: Here.
Summary: “I don’t get it,” Remus mused. “They didn’t even try to open the door. It’s not like we’re hiding out in a bloody fortress or anything.”
Author's Notes: Part II of II. Hate to disappoint, but there's no actual romance in these. I'm having a harder time getting these two together then I thought I would!

...Or Not. )
[identity profile] captainpookey.livejournal.com
Title: The Dishonored Diplomat
Pairing/Characters: Terry Boot/Daphne Greengrass, Michael Corner
Challenge: #4 - “that’s what she said!”
Rating: PG-13 for swearing.
Word Count: ~468
Summary: Terry tries to solve a problem the diplomatic way. "Tries" being the keyword.
Author’s Notes: This is actually a random pairing I received for the Numbers Ficathon, but I never got around to writing for that due to an untimely placed vacation, so I decided to use it for one of the challenges.

'Why do you look like you’ve just been crossed by a dragon -- and you’re ready to kick his arse?' )

Title: The Day Sirius Black Got Out of Detention Scot-Free
Pairing: Minerva/Sirius
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Summary: Sirius likes to monkey around.
Author's Notes: Do you know how hard it was to make this ONLY 100 words!?

Title: To Take Advantage Of
Character Pairing: Remus/Lily, cameo by annoying!Sirius
Prompt: "In the Other Sense of the Word"
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~604
Summary:Remus feels guilty for something he shouldn't have done.
Author's Notes: Follow-up to Crossing Lines, this drabble; can be read on its own. Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] megans_writing's comment, so thanks. Haha. Definitions from the Oxford American dictionary that's built into my computer.

Title: Crossing Lines
Character Pairing: Remus/Lily
Prompt: "Invisible Line"
Rating: PG
Word Count: 288
Summary: Remus Lupin knows exactly what he's doing. Exactly.
Author's Notes: Ahaha, so I finally got off my long stint of writer's block and wrote another one of these. :]

Title: Well, If You Put It That Way...
Character Pairing: Remus/Lily
Prompt: "Well, If You Put It That Way..."
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~795
Summary: “I can’t get married,” she gasped, shaking her head....
Author's Notes: Possibly a part 1 of 2.

Title: To No Avail
Character Pairing: Kingsley/Tonks
Prompt: Challenge #2: It was a dark and stormy night.
Rating: PG [minor cursing]
Word Count: 541
Summary: Another fruitless late night working for the Order, they take what amusement they can get.
Author's Notes: I'd imagine some of the work for the Order required finding dates, names, and information, and wasn't quite as exciting as the field work might have been. I'd also imagine this grunt work was often given to the people with the access to the most information, and with jobs at the Ministry at fairly high levels... well, Kingsley and Tonks probably got stuck with it.

Title: Time Runs Down

Character Pairing: Remus/Lily

Prompt: "Splat"

Rating: G

Word Count: 129

Summary: It doesn't take very long for things to take unexpected turns, and not in Remus's favor.

Author's Notes: Simple. Short. Nothing special.
