Rare Pair Shorts

Here we are, ladies and gentlemen – the Big Reveal! Thank you so much to everyone for your patience and participation. A huge thank you as well to our awesome pinch-hitters! This round was a little bumpy, so we're ever so grateful to you all for bearing with us.

Now that the Big Reveal has been posted, feel free to claim your fics and cross-post them to your own journals. But DON'T FORGET to go and COMMENT on everyone else's fics! We had wonderful entries this year, as always, even though quite a few of you were forced outside of your comfort zones, but unfortunately there haven't been many comments. So go show your fellow participants some love!

If you find any mistakes, please point them out. We would also appreciate any feedback about this round of the exchange in general.

Hello everyone! Posting for the Fic Exchange Winter 2009-2010 has ended. Normally, this would mean that we'd post the Big Reveal right about now. However, we've noticed that in spite of this being our biggest round of this exchange ever, there have been very few comments on all of the amazing fics. Therefore, we thought we'd do something a little bit different this year.

So, just for fun, we're posting a guessing poll! In the poll, we've posted a link to each fic (or set of fics); beneath each link is a box. In that box, you should type your guess for who you think wrote the fic above it. Hopefully we haven't forgotten anyone, but if we have, let us know ASAP!

At the end, just for fun, we'll see who guessed the most correctly. We may even have a shiny banner for the winner. ;)

We will put the first part of the poll outside of the cut; beneath the cut are the second and third parts, as well as a participant list (including pinch-hitters). Do take into consideration the fact that two of our participants wrote two entries each.

Now, have fun, and guess away! We will close the poll and announce the winner in about a week. Don't forgot to comment on the fics as you're reading them to guess!

To tetleythesecond: I was terribly nervous about writing this fic for you! Your writing is some of the best. I consider you one of the Elites on McGonagall. I apologise for the lack of McMin in this story; she takes a backstage role to some other equally strong female characters. I hope you don’t mind the additional two characters I included! I tried to go for a missing scene that was a stolen moment in a later book. I tried for some darker themes with lighter threads to connect—there has to be something to keep us going, hmm?
