You reply to this post with your wishlist. Your wishlist can be as long and as specific as you want (within reason, of course - please contain your list to one comment), but must contain requests for ficlets (or art) of rare pairings – pairings. You can look at last year's wishlist from other members to get an idea of what it COULD look like. This is the Dreamwidth Post from last year w/ same samples of wishes.

Also, if you're the kind of person who ships really, really rare things, it would be a good idea to include a wide range of other ships so you can get at least one wish granted.

Carte blanche wishlists are actually more frustrating than helpful, so please try to avoid those as well. A simple list of pairings and prompts tends to work best.

Your comments will be screened to begin with. The “Wish List Sign Up” will run from May 15 - May 30. What does that mean? It means that no one can see you wishlist except for you and the MOD until May 30. (*NOTE* It's MAY 30 not 31. T H I R T I E T H of MAY).

On May 31st, we will "reveal" them all!

After MAY 30 (10 pm EST) no one else may post a wishlist. If you do post a wishlist, you may certainly edit or add to it at any time before May 30th. Just an FYI, if you comment on your own wish list, you cannot edit the original post. You cannot edit your comment if you post anonymously.

We will reveal the WISHLIST on May 31st. The wish-granting shall begin on June 1st. Details as far as granting wishes will be given at that time.

There is no obligation in this event. If you post a wishlist, you don't need to grant other people's wishes; similarly, if you don't post a wishlist, you may still grant others' wishes. However, it really is a lot more fun if everyone participates semi-equally! :)

Please note, there is no wishing format. You can post your wish in any style you want. Pairing specific prompts. List of prompts. List of pairings. Do what you feel best! We are both on LJ and DW. You only post one wishlist in one platform.

Comments are screened. If you post something and it disappears, don't freak out. I promise you, it's there. Don't post multiple times. If you post your wish list anonymously, it will disappear, and you won't be able to see it. (But we will be able to see it, and it will be revealed on May 31). This fest will only be successful if people post wishes! Even if you only ship 2 or 3 pairings — don't worry! Put in a wish. This is YOUR CHANCE to BE SELFISH w/out any obligation!

I’m in the mood for both fluff and dark!fic. Domestic fluff like cooking together, gardening, going on holiday together (especially to the beach), magical hobbies, weddings, fights and resolutions, couples being nerdy together and debating potion theory, etc. Coffee or flower or book shop fics (etc). Dark!fic like Voldemort wins AU, non-con or dub-con, Amortentia mishaps or misuse, infidelity/jealousy. The dark days of war.

I would love to read more butch!Millicent fics, but any butch/femme representation would be great.

I also love: mpreg/pregnancy, kid!fic, creature fics, down and out characters, unusual jobs (especially Slytherins ex: Pansy as a gardener), historical or royal AUs, pining, manipulation, first time, secret relationships, characters during the war or immediately after the war, ghosts, sweltering heat, magical chores (cleaning the cauldrons with magic, etc.), voyeurism, pubs, magical politics, healers, magical creatures (vampires, werewolves, etc.), enemies to lovers, fluff, dirty talk, rough sex, semi-public sex (especially if infidelity is involved).

I’m also interested in seeing women in positions of power, both professionally and intimately. I’m always interested in fics/art set in Grimmauld Place or Malfoy Manor.

Auror fics or mysteries
A dark fic where the man has all the power over the woman
In general, men mistreating women and the narrative letting them get away with it. I’m on board if they get their comeuppance though lol
Women hating other women
A dark fic involving pregnancy, or a fic ending with the father still refusing to acknowledge the baby is his
Character bashing, especially Molly & Ron hate
A character being disowned by friends/family because they are LGBTQ
