“Come on you, time to get out of bed.”
“Don’t want to, wanna go back to sleep.”
“A fine example you are. What will people think if the new head of Wizengamot Administrative Services is late for work?”
“You’re just eager because you’ll have an office staff to boss around. Now come back to bed, I want to snuggle.”
“A fine piece of work you are, Patil. Now get your lovely arse out of bed and into the shower.”
“Calling me Patil, are you? You must really be eager, Bustrode!”
“I am eager, now out of bed or I’m leaving you for your sister.”
“Good luck with that, Parvati’s six months preggers and more attached to Grimmuald Place then I am this warm, cozy bed.”
“Harumph!”
“Sure you don’t want to fool around, just a little, before we go into work?”
“Oh, all right. Bunch over you, I’m going to need some help getting these boots off!”
The next day….
“So are we getting out of bed today? Or calling in sick again?”
“Oh, we’re most certainly sick, but not in the way that’s going to let us out of work two days in a row.”
“I suppose we should start getting ready. I’m just glad you found the key to the handcuffs. That’d be an awkward piece of jewelry to try and explain.”
“Oh that’s easy. I’d tell them you’re my prisoner and I’m bringing you in for questioning. Everyone knows you Slytherins are an evil, nasty lot.”
“Right, so nasty you’ve been keeping company with one since we were at Hogwarts or that you were nearly sorted into Slytherin when you were eleven.”
“Careful now, you’re the only one who knows that and I’d hate to have to hurt you.”
“Honey, the only way you could hurt me is if you took up with Draco Malfoy and I know you detest anything with a penis.”
“Urg, Malfoy. I’d rather shag a Hippogriff.”
“I can arrange that. Hagrid still keeps some at school. But not now, we have to get ready for work.”
“I hate being a grownup. Any chance we could go back to being silly teenagers?”
“Being a silly teenager doesn’t pay the bills or pay for the nicer things in life like wine, tequila or vacations to Ibiza.”
“I was afraid you’d say that. Alright, let’s get moving, I’d hate to see us get fired before we did a single spot of work.”
