Mod Announcement

Hey, guys.

So it is with a heavy heart that I bring you all this news, but I am putting this community up for adoption. I just find my time and energy waning lately and I want to make sure this place doesn't fade into oblivion, because it is an awesome place and deserves a mod team who will love it and give it the attention it needs.

Running things here can be a lot of work, so it is ideal to have at least two people to form a mod team. If you are interested, comment here and let me know, and feel free to discuss amongst yourselves.

Comments are NOT screened, because I'd like for the potential co-mods to interact with each other in this post if at all possible. Is there a group of you that would like to work together? Are you open to working with people you don't regularly interact with? If so, feel free to chat in the comments and get to know each other before you commit to anything.

And PLEASE, if you have any questions for ME, don't hesitate to ask, whether it's about how frequently events used to occur, how much of a commitment running this community is, or whatever else you can think of. I promise I won't disappear on you until this issue is settled, and I'm more than willing to chat in the comments.

I'd be interesting in taking the reigns. I'd prefer to do it with someone I know but I'm also happy to go solo or make a new friend to run it :) I'd just hope any potential partners would friend me so I would l feel a certain amount of connection.

I assume the major work loads are the fests?

Yeah, the fests are the most work, especially the winter exchange. There's also keeping up with people's progress on their tables and whatever little challenges you guys come up with.

I wouldn't mind taking over with someone as I love the comm. I wouldn't mind working with someone I don't really know that much either. I have quite a lot of time on my hands despite working full time and would be willing to put the time and effort into doing fests etc.
