Title: Family Honour
Pairing: Antonin/Bellatrix, side Bellatrix/Rodolphus
Request: young love that's not meant to be
Rating: PG13
Word Count: 307
Summary: Antonin watches Bellatrix marry Rodolphus
Author's Notes:not beta'd. It's more thoughts and feelings from Antonin's pov, rather than interaction between the two of them, I hope you still like it though.
He wasn't supposed to be there, but he couldn't help himself. He had to see Bellatrix marry Rodolphus even if it tore him apart.
Antonin and Bellatrix had loved each other since they had been at Hogwarts together, but they had never officially dated and once she was engaged to Rodolphus there was nothing he could do about it.
Although the Dolohov family was old, it was nowhere near as influential, or rich as the Lestrange family, and that was the reason Cygnus Black had chosen Rodolphus' suit over his own.
He had begged Bellatrix to elope with him before the wedding, but she wouldn't have any of it. She had said that as much as she loved him it was her duty to uphold her family honour, and that it had been in tatters since her sister had married the Mudblood and it needed repairing.
After that, Antonin visited her less and less until he stopped visiting altogether. He knew that letting her go was the right thing to do, and if he did it before the wedding it would be on his terms. He still needed to be there though. It would make the situation a reality and would stop him from doing anything stupid, like pursuing her right under Lestrange's nose.
He noticed that they had finished reciting their vows. It wouldn't be long now before he had to leave.
"Bellatrix and Rodolphus have made their vows, and exchanged rings to show their commitment to one another. May magic bless this union and bind them together as man and wife," said the officiate.
A shower of silver stars reigned over them before disappearing, but Antonin barely saw them as he turned and walked out

Antonin was stood behind a large statue at the very back of the marquee where no one could see him.
