Title: Night
Pairing: Bellatrix Lestrange/Antonin Dolohov
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 632
Summary: Two shadows meet in the darkest of nights.
Author's Notes: This was a quite new experience for me, since I never wrote (about) Antonin before, but it was fun! I also tried to include at least one of your prompts, so I really hope you like this, bb!

Night had come fast, faster than expected, had quickly covered the world in a cold, sinister darkness. Nights weren’t the same since the war, had lost their secure, protective atmosphere but had become eerie instead, eerie and dangerous. None of the people would still go out at night, too afraid of the consequences, too afraid of being more vulnerable than ever.

But there she was, a shadow in the night, walking, almost floating through the streets, merging with the darkness. Nobody would’ve been capable of noticing her until it was too late. But tonight, she’d not care about Muggles or Mudbloods on the street, wouldn’t care about whom she’d encounter by accident, as long as it wasn’t him.

He was waiting for her, had been waiting for her all night, but escaping earlier than at this moment would have been sheer impossible. Her desire seemed to grow with every second, would slowly assume control over both, her mind and body.

Of course she was aware of the danger she put herself in, night by night, but there was no other option, not for him, not for her, not for them. Being together seemed sheer impossible, but for him, she’d take any risk. For the first time in her life she’d chosen love over anything else, for the first time in her life she’d chosen to follow her emotion.

He’s not good enough, her parents had told her, more than once, and more than once she’d screamed, shouted at them, but of course it’d been pointless. Purebloods never married for love, she’d been told countless times, a Pureblood’s feelings didn't matter. Feelings never mattered.

Not good enough. Of course he was good enough, just as good as her husband, his blood was just as pure as her own, wouldn’t the Dark Lord have accepted him as one of his most Faithful otherwise, would he have been killed just like he killed all of those, not worth claiming to be of magical blood.

More than once, she’d considered running away, just running away without looking back, but something had made her submit to her parents’ will, to marry the man they had chosen to become her husband, something had made her fall against a power, stronger than both, her will and her heart.

But had she run away, she’d never had the chance to find her true responsibility, would have never had the chance to serve him, to serve the Dark Lord, to help him make this world a better world, a world only for witches and wizards. And she could see him, still, still had the possibility to be united with him, still look into his eyes, still hold his hand, feel his lips on hers, yet in secret.

She fastened her pace, quickly turned into a tiny, dark alley, just to find him waiting for her at the end, a barely visible shadow in the night, just like herself. It could have been any other man, standing right there, but she knew it was him, recognised his silhouette, his statue, even recognised the sound of his breath.

“Bella, finally.”

His voice made her gasp, made her bite her lip as she grasped his hair, pushing his face close to hers, close and even closer.

“Antonin,” she breathed between kisses, long and passionate, feeling how he pushed her against the cold stone wall. For a minute they stood there, together, their bodies melded together as one. But then, then he loosened his grip for a moment, his eyes still resting on her, just like hers were unceasingly resting on him, as if she could lose him in the minute she looked away. Finally he took her hand again, and only a second later they disappeared into the night, leaving behind nothing but emptiness.

*SQUEE* OMG this has to be like one of my favorite things in the world right now! For all it's shortness it encompasses so much emotion and it's so SEXY at the end without anything overly sexual happening. Yum :) Thank you so much!

OMG, I'm so happy that you like it! I love writing Bella, but I usually don't write her as a part of any ship (except maye some occasional Blackcest for fest :D), so this was completely new for me, which makes me twice as glad to know that you enjoyed the fic <333. You're very welcome, I had lots of fun writing for you! :D
