Author's Notes: This story takes place during Prisoner of Azkaban while Remus is still teaching at Hogwarts. Also, after writing this completely out of the blue I kind of want to write the backstory to it. XD The link is a fake cut to my journal.

I was very excited when I saw the first pairing posted for this challenge was Remus/Narcissa, and this story did not disappoint! I have such a weak spot for these two. You pulled them off perfectly! It's such an improbable pairing, you know, but they work -- they shouldn't work; their backgrounds and social circles dictate that they shouldn't be together, but that's what makes it all the sweeter. And angsty since we know how it all ends!

Thank you so much! :D After I finished writing this I went back through the community and got very nervous when I saw that there seemed to be a pretty heavy Remus/Narcissa following here in the past. I'm relieved to know that you think I did well!
