He is dying.

Again.

No blonde angel, no heavenly embrace, no Luna to grab him back from the brink like last time; not even the happy delusion of her. He is dying alone with no one to blame but himself. No sacrifice this time, the only person who would think or want to save him is far away by his own devices.

God, he is such a fool. Or is it was? Well to think is to be so he assumes that he still is.

 At least for now.

He is feeling the certain and horrible feeling of not feeling and it feels…well, like nothing. His veins are blackening with the misguided veil of hate and he welcomes it back.

Oh sweet self-loathing, the constant companion too long banished by the golden head filled with love for him.

And he returns the bitter man he was before her.

In spite of her.

 

Nothing changes if nothing changes.
