There's a blot over the s. The thought twists in her mind like the quill curling between her fingers as she pores over a stack of first year essays until it is no longer in the back of her mind, but at the forefront. At this point she acknowledges its significance and wonders if maybe he considered love or yours instead of sincerely. Of course it's a silly thought, and she laughs it off into the empty classroom with a grimace as the ink seeps onto her hand, staining her skin and the feathers of the quill she has shattered.
