Kevin hung his coat on its peg and called "Hannah?"
"In there!" replied his fiancée from the bedroom.
"What are you doing?" Kevin asked when he saw Hannah sitting in the middle of virtually every photograph that had.
Hannah pouted. "I was looking for the ones of our first vacation in Virginia but I couldn't find them, so I searched all the boxes."

Kevin sighed. "We gave most of them to your Grandma, so she could put them in an album." He let his eyes fly over the piles of pictures around Hannah and then picked up a few sun faded of Hannah and him at the beach.
"Aren't those the ones you're looking for? The house in the back looks like the one we rented back then."
Hannah got up and carefully stepped out of the circle she had created.
"Are you sure? They look so ... old."
"Yes," Kevin replied and showed her a picture of her in a kitchen. The younger Hannah laughed and poked her tongue to the photographer. "That's when you tried your hands on French toast."
"You're right but why are they so faded?" Hannah fingered one of the pictures in which she and Kevin laughed and waved on a pier.
"Hannah darling, you tapped them to the wall in your student apartment and only took them off when we moved in here."
"Oh."
"Ready to make some new memories?"
"What?"
Kevin pulled out two tickets. "Two tickets to Norfolk next Friday. I talked to your boss and we have 10 days."
