...Here it is: the Wishlist Event! :DD Woooohooo!

It's going to work pretty much the same as last year - and if you weren't around last year and haven't yet looked at the masterlist we've been constantly telling you about, DO SO. You won't be disappointed. ;)


How this works: you reply to this post with your wishlist. Your wishlist can be as long and as specific as you want (within reason, of course) but they must be requests for ficlets of rare pairings. Please remember that we don't allow fics rated higher than R.

Also, if you're the kind of person who ships really, really rare things (say, Cedric/Petunia or anything odd like that) it would be a good idea to include a wide range of other ships so you can get at least one thing granted. This was a problem last year, so please use your best judgment.

Carte blanche wishlists are actually more frustrating than helpful, so please try to avoid those as well. A simple list of pairings and prompts tends to work best.

Your comments will be screened to begin with. You have one week to post a wishlist - until June 17. After that no one else may post a wishlist. If you do post a wishlist before June 17, you may certainly add to it afterward.

The wish-granting shall commence June 18. Details as far as granting wishes will be given at that time.

There is no obligation in this event. If you post a wishlist, you don't need to grant other people's wishes; similarly, if you don't post a wishlist, you may still grant others' wishes. However, it really is a lot more fun if everyone participates semi-equally. ;)

01. A crack!fic. I'll seriously take any pairing, because damn it I NEED MY CRACK FIX and I guess I can't be too picky about what I ask for, seeing as not many people write crack to begin with. Hahaha. :P

02. Voldemort/Wormtail. Dark/Crack/Humor. I happen to think there's nothing more hilarious than seeing a supremely evil person doing mundane things. Voldemort gets ready for bed, perhaps? Or maybe he runs out of something? Something like that. Wormtail ought to be verbally abused and sent to do mundane errands. :P

03. Harry/Gabrielle. Humor. First person narrative might be nice. Something inspired by: "So shallow, not even an infant could drown within this compassion." (Coalesce - Grain of Salt)

04. A MYSTERY involving Percy and Hermione and their work at the Ministry. Can be humorous or can be dramatic. Bonus points if you manage to do both at the same time. Extra, extra bonus points if you make them try to solve a mystery that has already been solved.

- Bellatrix/Barty Jr. Dark. These kids are absolutely CRAZY, so I'd love to see them on a crazy mission to overthrow the other Death Eaters or something.
- Draco/Rosmerta. Prompt: Rosmerta's weakness.
- Ginny/Dean. Light romance/light angst. Prompt: like a rainbow in the dark.
- Ginny/Oliver. Light fluff. Prompt: the palm of your hand.
- Ginny/Theo. Humor, with witty banter. Prompt: a touch of evil.

I love get together stories, but I also understand that for some of these pairings there is no plausible happy ending. I love in character characters. For example - Pansy and Draco are going to be a bit bitchy, all the time.

A) I wish for a good fic involving Draco and Hermione. Preferably during Hogwarts - one in which perhaps she is the only one that gets to see the side of him that doesn't want to join the DE, or one in which they work together for the Order, etc. Can be anything from G to R in rating.

B) Neville and Hermione - you know, where the good guy finally gets the hot chick. Can be humorous, and bonus points if it involves dumbfounded! Harry and Ron. From G to R in rating is fine.

I've just joined the list, so it's probably way too pushy of me to have my first post be a wishlist. But as you see, that's not stopping me. In return, though, I promise to grant at least two wishes.

The good thing about having secondary character as an OTC is that virtually all their pairings are rare. Here are mine:

1. Minerva/Sprout -- summer at Hogwarts
2. Minerva/Moody -- First-war era
3. Minerva/Augusta Longbottom -- Do they even like each other?
4. Minerva/Professor Grubbly-Plank -- They clearly hang out together in the Hogwarts staffroom (cf. the time in OoP when Harry takes the injured Hedwig to G-P). So what's their story?
5. Minerva/Hooch -- in Hogsmeade
6. Minerva/your choice -- in case 1-5 are too squicky or uninspiring

Things I'd prefer not to see: crack!fic, stories about Minerva's student days, stories about Minerva in cat form. Otherwise, I'm easy.

Okay, I really don't know what I'm doing, so I hope this is right.
My wishlist:

1. Ron/Draco - You really can't go wrong with this unless you have them way OOC, but something with a little bit of fluff and angst would be wonderful. As for a prompt, maybe something involving secrets, but feel free to disregard that if you want.

2. Scorpius/Draco - Something dark and angsty only, please. And Scorpius wanting/lusting for Draco and it's unrequited is my favoriteee. :D But for some reason I don't like it when it's the other way around; Draco wanting an unsuspecting Scorpius just isn't as good.

3. Cedric/Draco - Probably something angsty or sort of unrequited. Cedric genuinely liking Draco and Draco just using Cedric for whatever reason would be good. :D

4. Bellatrix/Draco - Darkfic. Maybe Bella trying to force/training Draco to be a Death Eater, but she's all psycho and awful (really, make her as crazy/evil as you want). The more miserable/abused Draco is (but not OOC! So not all weak and weepy) the better.


And just a random bit of information: I love mentions of Draco's Sectumsempra scars. OM NOM NOM.
And nonexplicit sex for any of these is fine -- as long as it doesn't go above an R rating. :)

I just got into reading Neville/Hermione and then realized there weren't much fics on this pairing. 2) Draco/Rose (romantic situation) - I'd prefer not to have a fic with infidelity. Maybe Draco is divorced and it's post-Hogwarts.

I deliberately made my list large to give people some options if they'd like to tackle one. Beware I've been on a Draco frenzy lately so he's going to show up a lot on my list and a lot of these prompts were inspired by lyrics to different songs.
