Summary: Bella's anger at being promised to Rodolphus Lestranges leads her to commit acts she had never considered before.
Author's Notes: I would like to thank [W] for beta'ing this story for me, even though she had no idea what she was doing. Slight warning: There's a little roughness in this fic. I hope this story is everything my recipient wanted and more.
Bella remembers it all. She remembers how her parents promised her to the Lestranges. It doesn't mean much to her, even though deep down she knows it should. She was accustomed her parents' manipulative ways and fighting that would get her nowhere. It gives her a little relief to know that Narcissa and Andromeda have both been promised to prominent families as well. It gives her an even bigger relief when Andromeda runs off to elope with muggle-born wizard, Ted Tonks.
This doesn't spare her from her fate. She is married off at 21. Her household doesn't escape her wrath so easily. Soon after she says her vows, she releases a horrible curse on the Black household. Each family member present would be inflicted by one of the seven deadly sins. Narcissa doesn't suffer this fate for very long because her love for Lucius Malfoy saves her. When Bella realizes this she takes it upon herself to find a way to ruin Narcissa's life.
She arrives at Malfoy Manor unannounced and demands to speak to Lucius at once. The doors of his study open promptly and he ushers Bella inside. They engage in small talk until Bella whips out her wand and threatens Lucius with it; having seen worse, he is unmoved. This is when her interest in him is first sparked. She compliments him on his courageous manner and excuses herself so that she may depart. He stops her at the door and demands to know the reason for her visit. She smiles, feigning sweetness and says, "Can't I come visit my brother-in-law every once in a while?"
"No," Lucius replied curtly. His bottom lip curling into a sneer. They stare each other down for a moment. He moves out of her way before she can further annoy him.
More visits follow this one and they get more intense as they progress. Lucius already has quips ready for Bella before she even gets there. Bella takes it upon herself to dress more provocatively in hopes of stirring Lucius' interest. One night as they were partaking in their usual repartee, Bella made her move. She placed her hand on Lucius' waist and said, "Why don't we drop all pretenses and get straight to the point? You want me. End of story."
She backed away from him and proceeded to the exit. He reached out for her, but all he could catch was her hair. He grabbed a firm hold on what he could and jerked her back. She falls back on her behind and turns her head to look at him. He's still holding onto her hair and from the look in his eye he has only on his mind. He steps around her and crouches down.
"Don't assume you know me Bella," he sneers.
He hoists her up by her hair, pins her against the nearest wall and devours her with a kiss. She was so unsurprised that she didn't even flinch at the sudden motion. She just enjoyed the taste of him and the moment. In her mind she knew this was wrong, but she didn't care; her sister deserved this for escaping her wrath. As she thinks back about on the curse she released she can't help but wonder if she was affected by it.

And that is an amazingly interesting thought.
I really enjoyed this. Bellatrix and Lucius seemed very in-character, and the reasons behind their relationship were very believable. Great work!
