I like how you are handling the start of the DA and the complexities you are giving Michael's character. I like his motivations and the way Luna examined them. This was a very interesting start to a long story. (I don't think it is realistic to assume that all the former DA members were ready to restart the organization. They'd all be at different stages of understanding of the situation and have different levels of willingness to fight, at least in the begining.)
