You reply to this post with your wishlist. Your wishlist can be as long and as specific as you want (within reason, of course - please contain your list to one comment), but must contain requests for ficlets (or art) of rare pairings – pairings. Please note, there is no wishing format. You can post your wish in any style you want. Pairing specific prompts. List of prompts. List of pairings. Also, if you're the kind of person who ships really, really rare things, it would be a good idea to include a wide range of other ships so you can get at least one wish granted.

Carte blanche wishlists are actually more frustrating than helpful, so please try to avoid those as well. A simple list of pairings and prompts tends to work best.

Your comments will be screened to begin with. The “Wish List Sign Up” will run until May 30th. What does that mean? It means that no one can see you wishlist except for you and the MOD until May 30. (*NOTE* It's MAY 30 not 31. T H I R T I E T H of MAY). On May 31st, we will "reveal" them all!

After MAY 30 (10 pm EST) no one else may post a wishlist. If you do post a wishlist, you may certainly edit or add to it at any time before May 30th. Just an FYI, if you comment on your own wish list, you cannot edit the original post. You cannot edit your comment if you post anonymously.

We will reveal the WISHLIST on May 31st. The wish-granting shall begin on June 1st. Details as far as granting wishes will be given at that time.

There is no obligation in this event. If you post a wishlist, you don't need to grant other people's wishes; similarly, if you don't post a wishlist, you may still grant others' wishes. However, it really is a lot more fun if everyone participates semi-equally! :)

I like dark characters being good to each other. Example: Barty and Regulus join the DEs together and kick ass and are good at it! Or the same plot for Alecto and Bellatrix.

I like "light" characters going dark. Example: Bill Weasley becomes a Death Eater spy.

I love "neutral" characters where they try to manage their piece of the world as best they can and refuse to take sides—family comes first, and they'd do anything to save their loved ones.

I like Voldemort-wins-AUs with a sane Voldemort, and characters just living ordinary lives in this world.

I like fluff, dark fic, sappy romance, smut, PWP, pretty much the gamut.

Dislikes
For any good guy/bad guy pairing, I do not want the "bad" character turning "good."

Please no: shipping underage characters, noncon between the main ship (dubcon or technical problems like lack of informed consent is fine!), a/b/o, genderbending, soulmates tropes, character bashing, or prohibited ships even in a minor sense (e.g., background Drarry or Sirius and Remus flirting).

bleville (blaise/neville)
— something with neville being embarrassed about having gained weight, and blaise being into it. bonus points for blaise being absolutely shameless about it.

flintwood (marcus/oliver)
— i would love to see a fic where marcus accidentally hurts oliver during a march and somehow realises just how much the keeper means to him.

parkweasel (pansy/percy)
— the two outcasts having a conversation after the battle of hogwarts. inappropriate flirting happens, because percy weasley has brilliant blue eyes behind those hornrimmed glasses and pansy loves a challenge.

~ During one of Sirius' first Animagus transformations, Padfoot winds up in the dungeons. Whether a group of Slytherins or just Severus finds him, he spends the night with a surprisingly nice Slytherin/group of Slytherin students.

Sirius Black/Severus Snape
~ First War (late 1970s/early 80s). Sirius is supposed to be gathering intel while undercover as a witch. (Sample example: A secretary who tracks who uses Floo Network and the destinations for possible Death Eater meetings.) 'Undercover Name' accidentally befriends Severus, and due to [your choice], it leads to dating. (This could be a mutually agreed upon 'Faking Dating' idea to maintain the cover, other people might mistakenly think they're already dating, Sirius accidentally accepts a request to get dinner without picking up on 'asking out on a date' vibes, etc. Creator's choice if this leads to reciprocated genuine feelings or 'real' dating.)

[While I've tried to leave enough room for some comedy and/or humor, I would like to request that the creator is mindful of transphobic tropes, especially if they include an 'identity reveal' or approach the potential for sex. I would especially like to avoid a violent 'gay panic' scene that focuses on harming Sirius in this scenario, so a small suggestion might be to let Severus figure out that 'Undercover Name' is transsexual early enough that it's not a problem. Whether Sirius figures out that he's genderqueer, genderfluid, likes being a man who wears dresses, or some other Gender Introspection Outcome is up to the creator.]
