Rare Pair Shorts

I have never seen this pairing, so I was super excited to give it a read.

Sometimes, he almost misses those long gone days of his youth. No, really. It was so easy being the black sheep of the Noble House of Black, wasn’t it? It was all there in black and white, pun intended. No shades of gray, no messed up priorities— just a flying motorcycle he could ride off on, laughing as Walburga’s angry screeches faded away in the distance. That could not have been more in character if you tried. It just screams Sirius!

Was he afraid? Did he ask for Sirius when he was dying, wanting his brother to protect him just one more time? It’s the questions that won’t leave him be. He could have done something; he should have done something for Regulus. And now, twenty years later Sirius knows just when his world went from black and white to grey.
