i apologize! i don't think i've been properly cross posting, so i'll link everything i've written up to this date. :)

summary; [for rarepair_shorts] "Kates, what are you doing?" She threw the top back on quickly and shoved it back into the cabinet. She reached up on her tiptoes and grabbed a bottle without looking, clinking a bunch of them together accidentally. "Getting a drink," she said hurriedly, turning and smiling gently as he appeared in the doorway. "Want some?" He laughed, walking into the kitchen and taking the bottle. "Olive oil, Kates? Didn't know you were into that kind of bodily cleansing."
notes; this is really the first chapter that is all Katie. the second one is more mournful than insightful, so i wanted this to be more of that. i'm sure you all want to see into Katie's thought processes. also, this is the same person that grabbed her away from Adrian in the Diagon Alley scene! I'm not telling you who it is, but if you can guess, then Kudos! He's mostly described the way that I see him being in this sort of situation. Anyway, read on!
