Hello from the ether!

Hi there! Many of you may not know me at this point, but I created this community along with peskywhistpaw way back in 2007. I stopped being active on LJ eons ago but as luck would have it I got a totally random email notification about something that led me on a bit of a trip down memory lane...

I took a peek at this community and to my total surprise found it is still as bustling as ever nearly TEN YEARS LATER.

WOW.

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize all the effort the various mods (and welcome new mods!) have put into this community over the years, and to all of you for being the life force of this community. I'm truly blown away and proud to see this community thriving, and to see all the love you all have for it and for the events that have turned into long-lasting traditions.

I never imagined that our little hare-brained idea would become what it is today. I just saw that this community is now ranked #124 of ALL TIME! Incredible! Hope you all don't mind me literally coming out of nowhere to ramble excitedly about this, but let's take a moment to celebrate what everyone has built here! Woo! <3
