Though we are called Rare Pair Shorts, we wanted to give you the opportunity to step outside our usual boundaries. So that means your challenge is to write any rare threesome of your choice. :D

Basically that means just about all threesomes besides Harry/Hermione/Ron. As far as I know, not too many threesomes have many fics about them - but if there are any other non-rare threesomes out there, please call them to my attention.

And I know you are all very creative people anyway, so I'm sure we'll get some interesting fics out of this. ;)


The term "threesome" usually implies a sexual relationship, but we'd like to encourage fics that are not sexual in nature. You can, of course, go the other way, but please remember we do not allow fics rated higher than R. For further clarification in regards to what we mean by the term "threesome", please refer to this post.

You may submit as many fics as you like, and they can all be for different threesomes, or for the same one if you so choose.

Please be sure to headline your submission(s) as follows:

Remember to include all the proper tags, especially the challenge # you are responding to. We will add the special tags for the threesomes.
