I really like the fic exchange that has been going on here. The somewhat lower minimum word count makes for a lot less pressure.

I remember there was a wishlist even one year in the summer on a diff comm and I think there may have been one here. Anyways, those are fun, it's almost like a prompt fest but a little more lose. Also, if you give incentives, like making a special banner or something for the person who fills the most wishes, that would be cool. I know it worked in the comm that did the wishlist event that one summer.
