Let the Wish-Granting Begin!

It is finally time to start granting those wishes, so here's how to do that!


1: GENERAL INFO.
Community rules take precedence over all requests. This means that your fics must not be rated higher than R, even if the recipient requested NC-17 material. Also, please disregard requests for non-rare pairings. If anyone has requested threesomes, this is okay. :)

There is no obligation in this event. If you post a wishlist, you don't need to grant other people's wishes; similarly, if you don't post a wishlist, you may still grant others' wishes. However, it really is a lot more fun if everyone participates semi-equally. ;)

You may write as many fics for as many people as you like. More than one person may grant the same wish, mostly due to the fact that some people have much shorter wishlists than others.

Your fic(s) must be at least 200 words and no more than 2000 words, but don't stress too much about word counts and things as long as it's within reason. Beta readers are not required, but are encouraged -- please check your fics for spelling and grammar.


2: REVIEW THE WISHLISTS.
There are 25 wishlists up and they are now unscreened - so go have a look! Watch out for the wishlists with collapsed comments underneath, as there could be additional instructions/prompts/etc. in some of them.

DO NOT REPLY TO THE WISHLISTS WITH ANY COMMENTS OR LINKS TO FICS.


3: SHARE YOUR FICS!
Once you've selected a wish or wishes to grant and have written your fic(s), post them to this community using the following format below.

→ The Body ←
Copy and paste this form into your post. You may use a fake cut to your own journal.

We will create any tags that you need, so don't worry if you can't add them all yourself.


THE LAST DAY TO POST YOUR FICS IS JULY 15. We will post the masterlist soon after that.

On the form for the body, it has a place for "request". What exactly goes there? The prompt?

It says no comments or links in the wishlist post, but if I have a question/don't understand someone's list, can I post there? Or should I try to contact them some other way?

You want your gift to be a surprise, so don't contact the recipient. You can send your questions to the mods in a PM and we'll reach out for you.

Just a couple quick questions - do you have to be a member to post? And, do we need to let anyone know if we're going to grant a wish?

Yes, you must join our community before posting. But you don't need to announce your wish granting; simply post your fic to the comm once it is ready. :)
