Fic Exchange Deadline Reminder

Today is January 10, which means that you have one week left until your submissions for the fic exchange are due. So far, we've only had three fics turned in. Therefore, we'd like to remind you that NOW is the time to start asking for an extension if you think you're going to need one. We can only grant an extension until January 27 (a week and a half after the deadline has passed).

would it be possible for me to ask for an extension?
i might not need it in the long run, but i'm having trouble getting a hold of my beta, and if i can't get hold of her soon; i thought it might be better to ask sooner rather then later. :$
