CHALLENGE #1

Hey people! This is just a friendly reminder encouraging you to participate in our non-human challenge! Details can be found here.

Those of us in school are likely facing finals and major exams right now, so if you want to participate but are fretting about the time, don't panic. We are pushing back the deadline to around February 17 (since us mods want to write for this challenge as well!) :D

Also, as a side note...
What other sorts of events you would like to see/participate in? (Any challenges, ficathons, exchanges, etc. Be as specific as you please.) Please leave a comment with your reply - we want to hear your opinions! :)

I love challenges - maybe we could have a monthly one to start with? Since February is right around the corner, what about a Valentine one?

Exchanges are also lovely, but they require more work from the mod. Challenges will probably be easier for you.

What about a tagging? Whoever wants to participate is assigned a number. Number one starts, then number two continues where number one stopped. It can be made even more challenging if the last word of number one's drabble is number two's first word.

Just a few ideas.

I like both of those ideas a lot. The tagging sounds especially fun. :]

And challenges are always fun-- give us something new to write about every month.

Another interesting one could be if a couple sentences were supplied, and it's left up to everyone else to write the ending. It would be fun to see how everybody interprets the same few lines, and what they choose to do with them.

-shrugs-

I love that last idea!

Yah, I like the sentence idea- giving us all a little bit to start off with and seeing how differently we all go with it :)
