Author's Notes: The crack is only in the pairing, because this is a saaaad story. Oh, and I blame the idea for this pairing on meish_kaos. Totally her fault. Same story here in French, if you're curious.

The Prince's Potion book could feel a tear running down its cover. Oh, don't get me wrong, it was a brave little book. But he had just learnt about its betrayal and… he wasn't sure he could still think its name.

Didn't Tom's diary have any sense of decency? Just after their break up, it was parading with another one. A thinner one. A younger one. One that was in colour. A common Quidditch illustrated magazine, still stinking of fresh ink… The Potion book could see them together on the coffee table. Bastard. Traitor. Oh, Merlin, it hurt so much!

Poor Potions book; Tom's diary will soon learn that older books have the most experience. The newer, flashier print materials have to go through a lot in order to look that way. Everything goes under the knife these days. *lol*
