You reply to this post with your wishlist. Your wishlist can be as long and as specific as you want (within reason, of course - please contain your list to one comment), but must contain requests for ficlets (or art) of rare pairings – pairings.

Also, if you're the kind of person who ships really, really rare things, it would be a good idea to include a wide range of other ships so you can get at least one wish granted.

Carte blanche wishlists are actually more frustrating than helpful, so please try to avoid those as well. A simple list of pairings and prompts tends to work best.

Your comments will be screened to begin with. The “Wish List Sign Up” will run from May 15 - May 30. What does that mean? It means that no one can see you wishlist except for you and the MOD until May 30. (*NOTE* It's MAY 30 not 31. T H I R T I E T H of MAY).

On May 31st, we will "reveal" them all!

After MAY 30 (10 pm EST), no one else may post a wishlist. If you do post a wishlist, you may certainly edit or add to it at any time before May 30th. Just an FYI, if you comment on your own wish list, you cannot edit the original post.

We will reveal the WISHLIST on May 31st. The wish-granting shall begin on June 1st. Details as far as granting wishes will be given at that time.

There is no obligation in this event. If you post a wishlist, you don't need to grant other people's wishes; similarly, if you don't post a wishlist, you may still grant others' wishes. However, it really is a lot more fun if everyone participates semi-equally! :)

Parings and what I like about them.

Hermione/Victor Krum
I see them as a wholesome power couple, almost fluffy. But I don't like it when Ron gets shit on to make Victor look better by comparison.

Harry/Luna
Lunas the only one who really "gets" Harry. Harry knows she's a bit quirky and that most people don't understand their relationship, but it's solid and beautiful. Harry never ceases to be amazed by Lunas insight and kindness.

Seamus/Dean
These two just have a connection, and nothing can get between them. Possible poly relationship where they are each other's primary.

Drapple
There's never enough drapple. Crack the shit out of it.

James/Sirius/Snape
This could be experimentation, it could be coercion, it could be a drunken night out, it could be non-con gang violence. It happens (maybe more than once) but eventually it ends and things are never the same after that.

Prospective writers, thank you for checking out my wishlist! More than anything, I hope to inspire you to write something novel and something you will enjoy writing. If you find yourself skimming through this wishlist and thinking, "now that pairing/situation would really be crazy, how would that even work?"... That. Write that. :D

I love het pairings, forbidden relationships, and UST. Smut is good, too, but I really enjoy suggestion and that maddening feeling of suspense you get from unresolved tension. I love PG-13 fics that leave me panting for more. Please feel free to limit or exclude plot, especially in a short fic like this. Just throw me right in there with some context, and I'll be good.

I want to give you lots of room to work, so I've made some lists below, and I encourage you to pick, choose, mix, and match as it suits you. I'm honestly open to any rair het pairing — so feel free to branch out even further — but I would love it if you could include at least one character from my list below. The tropes, kinks, and prompts are there solely to generate ideas; utilize, twist, or disregard them as you wish. I’d love to read a fic about a character who’s introduced in one of the first five HP books (because I write only on the basis of those books and don’t know the others so well).
I’d love a fic about someone who’s more than a name in canon but still a minor canon character (because I’d like to both recognise the characters and learn to know them better through your writing, feeling that they can really be the ones I met in canon).
I’d love a fic in which sex is not central or the (only) conclusion of the story.
I’d love a surprising pairing.
I’d love a fic that diverges from canon after OotP, but I’ll enjoy also fully canon-compliant or completely AU fic.
I’d love a fic with some magic in it.
I find it hard to make a wish list, because I’m happy to read anything well-written, perhaps particularly something that surprises me.
