oh, i meant that you don't really get a sense of who katie really is in the books--she has very few scenes, very little dialogue, and she's mainly remembered as the girl who got cursed. not a whole lot to go by. so, what you've done remarkably well is give her a personality, a memorable look, and a good reason why she pairs nicely with percy, which is crucial to hooking new readers to the pairing.
