Oh, I could slap myself for needing the Cackling Crone to remind me that I've long meant to read this! I love the Meta and Gilderoy's spot-on voice. It's light, it's funny, and it has the beautiful trademark Miss Morland lines like The feeling was familiar, old and clammy and just as unpleasant as ever: the feeling of being watched.

Not only would the story be brilliant, but he'd make art out of -- indeed, immortalise -- a personage who certainly could never otherwise have hoped for such an honour. It was enough to make the most hardened reader cry. -- Indeed, I am on the verge of tears. Oh, the goodness of this man.

And I love Minerva's teasing *g*.
