Just re-read this because I thought it might be a nice way to get the motivation up for an afternoon in the library and a lovely warm-up before braving the snow and the ice. And I was right!

More particularly lovely bits:
-- The line "Good old Bouncing Bagman." That had escaped me during the first reading. A great way to have Irma summarise the encounter. Also, the "hazy area between that first walk and spending every free moment together" (and yes, there is such an area, although some of my male friends like to joke that what a lesbian brings to the second date is a furniture van.)
-- The occasion where size matters. Probably explains why Hagrid and Fang are single.
