I really liked this piece of writing. So sad but sweet at the same time. It really shows how one sacrifices themselves for the one they love. Really touching and I feel really sorry for all but Lavender who got a happy ending indeed.
I didn't know about that disease but sounds like Alzheimer to me. Losing memory is a horrible thing. No matter which the cause is =S
