Oh gosh, this does break my heart though. The imagery was great, and poor Charlie! :( I love what you did with the prompt, actually, and the flashback was so sweet (and sad!)

Really liked this line, among others: He thinks he wants to kiss her, he realizes it's not the first time he's wanted to do so.
