Author's Notes: This is the first part in a thirteen-part story -- each of which will be written in response to one of the thirteen prompts I'll complete for the community challenge. Neville only appears as a reference in this portion, but the story is definitely headed in the Draco/Neville direction. I'll come up with an overall title for this series/arc soon.
