I don't know how I missed this comment and I apologize for not responding to it. I really wanted to write Marietta as the type of person who has friends, but no one has any idea why as she's a rather nasty piece of work. Her friends, like Cho, are the type to constantly make excuses for their behavior and tolerate them only because of a near infinite level of patience.

I definitely think Neville's the sort who's not really thought much of upon first glance, but the more you get to know him...
